“A New Paradigm in Large-Bore Vascular Closure”

About

Arterica is a dynamic medical device startup located in Santa Rosa, California.  Founded in 2016, we have assembled a team of highly experienced device innovators along with leading cardiologists and surgeons to improve patient outcomes while lowering heathcare costs.

Large Bore Closure

The trend toward minimally invasive procedures has led to many new catheter-based therapies for cardiovascular disease.  An important group of these therapies, including aortic repair (EVAR/TEVAR) and heart valve repair or replacement (TAVR/TMVR), requires large bore catheters to be inserted through the femoral artery or vein.  After the procedure, the large access hole in the femoral artery or vein must be closed:  that closure is the focus of Arterica.

Key Features of the Arterica System
